Drove through a few states and one time zone yesterday... Saw a LOT of coal. Piles and piles next to railroad lines and trains with hundreds of cars with even black mounds. Saw lot of rivers, huge and small, and the Ohio was probably the biggest. Lots of beautiful green... And sliced rock cut for roads.

Saw the Belle of Louisville all lit up at night sitting at it's dock. Sooo pretty! Drove by a nuclear plant.

Saw a critical delivery fed ez truck pull over and the driver, his wife, two dobermans and a miniature greyhound climb out to stretch :) Talked with hardees workers who were trying to coax a tiny kitten out of a bush and talked with all the really nice ladies working the toll stations on the turnpikes. Heard a lot of amazing accents. Picked up local radio coverage of high school baseball championships, which was awesome! Oh, and I learned that truckers flash their headlights when other truckers (or 17' uhauls towing wranglers) pass to let them know when they have enough clearance to merge back into the slow lane! Which I think is cool.
Dad and i are getting kind of stiff though. Can't wait to get to Colorado!!

I would imagine it is quite an adventure with what you are seeing! And I also can imagine that you are tired of that U-Haul by now too, Kudos to even sleeping in it!! What troopers you both are!! Onward to Denver!!
